Veolia has sold its European Mobile Water Services Division to Saur

Veolia has sold to Saur its European Mobile Water Services division, one of the main mobile water players with a state-of-the-art fleet in Europe, as part of the commitments made by Veolia to address the European Commission’s competition concerns. The agreement initially formalized through a unilateral put option allowing the parties to complete the transaction after the consultation process of Veolia’s employee representative bodies and receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals, closed on November 30th, 2022 for a total consideration of approximately €190 million.

Veolia’s European Mobile Water Services (MWS Europe) will become the global Mobile Water Services platform of Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI). With the addition of Mobile Water Services, NSI obtains a single-source provider of full-service offering of mobile water solutions.

Veolia’s European Mobile Water Services (MWS Europe) is a performance-based output rental service provider. The Company offers reliable 24/7 services to suit all industrial customer requirements for a wide range of high value applications – anytime and anywhere – for business continuity and security. MWS Europe is a single-source provider of a full-service offering of mobile water technologies including reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), and deionisation (IX), among others. Solutions are pre-packaged on a trailer, skid, or container for maximum mobility and responsiveness – treating process water and reuse water.
