Private investor group led by Virthos Partners has acquired Hytrans

Private investor group led by Virthos Partners has acquired Hytrans Beheer BV, a leading developer and manufacturer of large-volume mobile water pump systems. Hytrans is the second acquisition in the firefighting market led by Virthos after the acquisition of FireDos GmbH, a leading manufacturer of stationary foam additive proportioning systems and premium firefighting monitors, in 2017.

Hytrans, founded in 1988 and based in Lemmer, NL, is a developer and manufacturer of hydraulically-driven, mobile pump systems offering high-flow capacities and high-operating pressure that enable fire fighters and authorities to 1) extinguish large fires effectively; 2) remove and control nuisance and hazardous waste water; and 3) alleviate flooding. Hytrans’ solutions are proven to be highly effective in fighting fires in situations where fixed systems have failed and are trusted by customers from around the globe.
