The Austrian-based global leader for compressed gas solutions, the iSi Group (“iSi”), is expanding its culinary and beverage division with the acquisition of innovative, New York-based Aerflo. With this acquisition, iSi is growing its Culinary Division to include the area of “mobile carbonation”, i.e. the possibility of carbonating water on the go. iSi is thus combining its many years of experience in the soda water segment with a current lifestyle trend around “individual hydration”. The acquisition is intended to strengthen iSi’s presence in the USA and open up new markets.
Aerflo will be incorporated into a newly formed subsidiary, iSi Spritz Inc., and will be part of iSi Culinary, the oldest of iSi Group’s four divisions.
The iSi Group, founded in Vienna, Austria in 1867, is today a global player with production and sales facilities worldwide, selling products to more than 90 countries. iSi provides customized solutions for all applications in which compressed energy is required in the form of pressurized gas chargers, with applications in Automotive, Culinary, Components and Wearables.
