Global Glove & Safety Manufacturing Inc. (“Global Glove”), along with its subsidiary Safe-Fit in Mexico, has been acquired by Globus Group (“Globus”), a leading manufacturer of PPE in the EMEA region.
Global Glove, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Ramsey, Minnesota, offers a full lineup of personal protective equipment ranging from hand and eye protection to protective clothing and head protection products. Global Glove’s subsidiary, Safe-Fit, provides a broad range of safety products to the industrial personal protection market in Mexico. Together, Global Glove and Safe-Fit have a reach throughout North America, Central America and South America with over 200 employees.
Craig Wagner, founder and President of Global Glove, stays on as Global Glove president and as a shareholder in the new combined entity. Armando De Leon and Carlos De Leon stay on as President and CFO of Safe-Fit, respectively.
Globus, headquartered in Manchester, UK, is a leading developer and manufacturer of products across the PPE spectrum including gloves, eyewear, head protection, clothing and respiratory protection products, with several factories throughout the UK and Europe.
