FFL Partners, LLC (“FFL Partners”) has acquired Datawatt BV (“Datawatt”) via their Ovarro platform. Datawatt, founded in 1977, provides remote monitoring, control, and telemetry solutions, primarily serving the water, energy, and industrial markets. Combined with partner-supplied equipment such as sensors, Datawatt provides proven engineered solutions to customers operating geographically dispersed processes or networks. Ovarro, a subsidiary of Laurel Solutions, is a market-leading provider of Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs), acoustic leakage data loggers, secure SCADA systems, and intelligent analytics software. Ovarro’s acquisition of Datawatt continues to demonstrate the investment strategy to further develop as an industry-leading player in remote monitoring and control of critical assets.
