Aliaxis Group SA (“Aliaxis”), a manufacturer and distributor of plastic fluid handling systems, has sold SED Flow Control GmbH (“SED”) to Samson AG (“Samson”). Headquartered in Bad Rappenau, Germany, SED is a specialist valve company focused on the pharmaceuticals and biotech as well as the food and beverages markets.
SED relies on 100 highly skilled employees to develop and manufacture metal diaphragm valves for aseptic service as well as metal and plastic diaphragm and angle seat valves for industrial applications. The product range also includes positioners, solenoid valves, signal transmitters, and flow meters.
